REGISTRATION STARTS SOON on September 4th, 2023.
WHAT WE OFFER
WEEDO offers a year program for girls who are not going to school, and we want to improve their opportunities in working market. This includes:
•Classes from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm
•The opportunity to expand their network and connections.
•To share ideas from one another in our community
•The ability to identify and increase your talent.
•To improve the opportunities in the national and international working market
CLASSES
•Sewing & Fashion and Design
•Computer and technology
•English and Communication skills
•Entrepreneurship and Business skills
Addition class
•Female health education (Sexual reproductive health)
•Sports
•Private counselling
QUALIFICATION TO BE REGISTERED
•To be enrolled at WEEDO you must be finished standard seven (primary school) or above.
•Minimum age is 15+
•You need to know how to read and write Swahili.
•You must not be admitted to any school, means you are no longer in school.
•Commitment and great need and desire of the program
CONDITIONS FOR REGISTRATION
•Registration process takes place from 11th September to 28th November (in our office from 9am to 4pm)
•There will be an exam and an interview to prove their prior knowledge and motivation.
•The selection will be done after the exam and interview and the parents and girls will be notified two weeks before WEEDO opens.
•Parents and girls will be required to sign a commitment letter.
